Bell-like flowers are bending the thin, seemingly fragile stems sprouting out of narrow cracks in bedrock. We are looking at Justin's bellflower, another native species and a personification of modesty, persistence and resourcefulness of Mother Nature and its creations.
Justin's bellflower, too, has a narrow distribution area. It only thrives in Slovenia and neighbouring Croatia, so searching for it in other places would be in vain. But because it thrives in rocks, where there is little human interference, it is not endangered.
