Treat yourself to a home-made »furman's« lunch in a former furman's guesthouse.

In Selšček, the hometown of Maksim Gaspari, enter the former »furman's« guesthouse that this famous Slovenian painter also visited, and sit comfortably among the local guests, who will show you the atmosphere of the former guesthouse. Listen to old stories and browse old photos.
The housekeeper will cook you a »furman's« lunch on the old stove and serve you homemade bread from the brick oven. You can also choose a souvenir or a local product from the displayed old shop.

In case of available spaces, it will be possible to participate in the activity even without prior registration, in case of filling up, priority will be given to those who have registered.
*How to get to Selšček?
From the highway, take the Unec exit, then turn left towards Unec, Rakek and Cerknica. Before Cerknica at the roundabout, drive towards Begunje pri Cerknici, and in Begunje pri Cerknici turn right (in the direction of Rakitna). Selšček is the first village you will come to from Begunje pri Cerknici.
Participation is at your own risk.
Without further notice, you can also visit the Museum of Lake Cerknica (Saturdays and public holidays at 11:00 and 15:00, Sundays at 11:00), Križna cave (every day at 15:00, weekends at 11:00 and 15:00) and the Visitor Center Lake Cerknica. The sights can also be visited at other times upon prior reservation.
