Discover: Selfness in the green valley of Rakov Škocjan

You are invited to a hike through the picturesque Rakov Škocjan valley, which will be the dramaturgical background and scenography of our inner journey of meeting ourselves. Caves call for a withdrawal of attention inward, looking at the natural obstacles in the river bed will make it easier to understand how they also stop our personal flow of life; picturesque natural bridges symbolically represent a way to overcome obstacles; an open view of the valley will help us define the desired state, and next to lively and rich springs we will look for our resources to achieve our goals. The hike, accompanied by a brief explanation of the valley's natural and cultural attractions, will help you thoroughly enjoy the beauty of the green Karst world and fresh air. 

Duration: from 10:00 to 14:00 (4 h)  
Meeting point: Rakov Škocjan, parking lot next to Rakov Škocjan hotel (N 45.78862, E 14.29770) 
Guide: Natalija Vrhunc  
Necessary equipment: hiking shoes, suitable clothes according to weather, drink, mosquito and ticks repellent, Armaflex or something to sit on.
Suitable for: everyone older than 14 years old

In case of available spaces it will be possible to participate in the activity even without prior registration, in case of filling up, priority will be given to those who have registered.

You can also visit the Visitor center Lake Cerknica and Križna Cave (every day at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00) without prior notice. Both sights and the Museum of Lake Cerknica can also be visited at other times with prior reservation.
