You are invited to take a hike in the forests near the Rakov Škocjan valley, where you will be accompanied by a guide and explore the habitat of game and large carnivores.

We walk through the forest, listen to the voices, look for animal footprints, find out who they belong to, see the hunting observatory, feeder, salt lick, bilge and find out what they are for. With the right behaviour and a bit of luck, we will also be able to observe the animals in their natural environment. 

The hike will take three hours (about 4 km) and is suitable for everyone who would like to get to know the mysterious life of the forest inhabitants.

Duration: from 9:00 to 12:00 (3 h) 
Meeting point: Rakov Škocjan, parking lot next to Rakov Škocjan hotel (N 45.78862, E 14.29770) 
Guide: Aleš Gorkič 
Necessary equipment: hiking shoes, suitable clothes according to weather, mosquito and ticks repellent
Suitable for: everyone older than 6 years old
Price: includes guiding and materials provided to the participant of the activity

In case of available places, it will be possible to participate in the activity even without prior registration, in case of filling up, priority will be given to those who have registered.
