Hike: Following the bear's footsteps

Join us on a hike through the idyllic Menišija plateau. The path, which leads us in the bear's footsteps, is a well-visited hiking destination on the Menišija plateau. Along the 11 km long route, you will get to know the natural and cultural heritage that characterized this area. The constant presence of bears, that walk along this path, will give you extra adrenaline and an unforgettable adventure. At the end of the adventure, a hearty hot meal made with local ingredients awaits for you.

Duration: from 9:00 to 14:30 (5-5,5 h)
Meeting point: Selšček*, parking by the curch (N 45.82088, E 14.39688)

Necessary equipment: hiking shoes, suitable clothes according to weather, hiking poles, snack, drink, sunscreen, mosquito and ticks repellent

In case of available places, it will be possible to participate in the activity even without prior registration, in case of filling up, priority will be given to those who have registered.

*How to get to Selšček?
From the highway, take the exit Unec exit turn left towards Unec, Rakek and Cerknica. Before Cerknica at the roundabout, drive towards Begunje pri Cerknici, and in Begunje pri Cerknici turn right (in the direction of Rakitna). Selšček is the first village you will come to from Begunje pri Cerknici.

The sights can also be visited at other times upon prior reservation.
