Hike: A walk on the moon

Do you want to walk on the moon? We can't give you the opportunity to do that, but it's true that the bottom of the intermittent  Lake Cerknica looks quite similar.  

Accompanied by a guide, you will walk along the sinkhole system called Rešeto, discovering the "craters", or sinks and sinkholes, where the water from the intermittent Lake Cerknica dries up. You will visit the Skadulca cave and learn more about the plants and animals that call Lake Cerknica home. Your local guide will tell you many more stories about the largest intermittent lake in Slovenia. 

Duration: from 10:00 to 12:00 (2 h)

Necessary equipment: suitable clothes and shoes according the weather, snacks, drink and sunscreen
