Hike: Where Lake Cerknica is born

Join us on an unforgettable hike along the Trail of Springs and discover the magical world of the largest springs of Lake Cerknica. On the four-kilometre circular route, in the company of experienced local guide Janja Urbiha - Kozarka, we will get to know the rich natural and cultural heritage, observe nature, water, plants, listen to the sounds of the lake and the forest, smell the fragrant nature, and at the end we will enjoy homemade delicacies. The hike will be followed by a social gathering and refreshments at the T'Dolenj farm, famous for its excellent fruit products such as juices, jams, liqueurs and vinegars. You will be served freshly baked bread, home-made cured meats, vegetables from the home garden, jams, tea, liqueurs or brandy. 

Duration: from 10:00 to 13:30 (3,5 h)
Meeting point: observation platform Malnšče (between Gorenje Jezero and Laze pri Gorenjem Jezeru; N 45.72848, E 14.40509)

Necessary equipment: hiking shoes, suitable clothes according to weather, drink, mosquito and ticks repellent, sunscreen

The sights can also be visited at other times upon prior reservation.
