Explore our unique part of the world and enjoy a guided birdwatching journey with an ornithologist.
Your experience starts in Jezerski hram's ornithological classroom located in the village of Dolenje Jezero. Here, you will learn about various bird species, their habitats, and migratory paths. Afterward, you will accompany an ornithologist to identify diverse bird species in their natural surroundings. We will use binoculars or a telescope to observe places farther away, so if you don't have your own, you can borrow them at no additional cost before we start walking. The trip will end with a viewing of the interactive board of birds from Lake Cerknica, where you can listen to bird calls that you might have missed during the tour or that you'd like to hear again.
