Get to know the life of the largest forest residents!

You are invited to take a walk through the woods near the Rakov Škocjan valley, where you will explore the habitat of wild animals and large animals in the company of a local guide Aleš Gorkič.
You will walk through the forest, listen to the voices, look for animal footprints, find out who they belong to, see the hunting observatory, feeder, salt lick, bilge and find out what they are for. With the right behaviour and a bit of luck, we will also be able to observe the animals in their natural environment. Participants receive a backpack/bag containing accessories for carrying out the activity, literature, a bottle of water and during the hike we will also treat ourselves to a real home-cooked lunch.
Duration: from 10:00 to 14:00 (4 h)

Necessary equipment: hiking shoes
Suitable for: everyone older than 6 years old
Price: includes guiding and materials provided to the participant of the activity

In case of free places, it will be possible to participate in the activity even without prior registration, in case of filling up, priority will be given to those who have registered.
Participation is at your own risk.
You can also visit the Visitor center Lake Cerknica and Križna Cave (every day at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00) without prior notice. Both sights and the Museum of Lake Cerknica can also be visited at other times with prior reservation.
