In favorable winter conditions, go on a 1 km long circular cross-country track in the embrace of the Inner Carniola's forests. Along the Cerkniščica stream and under the mighty Slivnica, you can find well-kept cross-country tracks. The tracks are accessible for free, they are open every day until 18:00 (the tracks are illuminated).
The Cerknica Ski Club is in charge of arranging the track. Follow up-to-date information on the operation of the track and snow conditions at www.facebook.com/skcerknica.
Access: by the Cerkniščica stream under the DEOS building, Cerknica Senior Center (Cesta pod Slivnico 1, Cerknica)
Parking: free of charge at VDC Cerknica (Ulica za mlinom 7, Cerknica)
Working hours: every day until 18:00 (tracks are illuminated). The working hours can be adjusted according to the course of training of registered athletes and according to the daily state of snow and weather conditions.
We kindly ask all visitors of the biathlon center, not to walk on the cross-country track, because with this it is being destroyed. Please walk along the edge.
Cross-country skis can be rented only at the Izišport store in Bloke (Nova vas 48a, 1385 Nova vas).

Visitors use the running track at their own risk.
The cross-country biathlon center is under video surveillance. Manager or authorized person share the right to prohibit individuals and groups from entering the area of the cross-country biathlon center due to their violations of the rules of behavior and safe cross-country skiing.
