The route that Pavel Kunaver took his students from the Rakek railway station to the natural bridges of the Rakov Škocjan valley leads through the village of Rakek. It passes by the church of the architect Jože Plečnik. It continues across the Rakek field, over the Stražnik hill and through beautiful fir and beech forests to the Small Natural Bridge, where the trail leads us to the heart of the famous Rakov Škocjan landslides. From here you follow the educational trail. Along the way you will see all the other breathtaking sights of this nature reserve. You come back by walking on the macadam road and across the fields to Rakek. The route is well marked and the Rakek Tourist Association organises regular walks on it both in summer and winter,
